🌟 Big shoutout to Patricia! 🌟

Here she is with our brand-new Caregiver Wall and Library of Games in Lenoir 🎲🧩♠️

The idea came a few months ago when we thought it would be great to give caregivers something fun and different to do during downtime. In just a few days, Patricia made it happen! 💙

We’re so grateful for her creativity, efficiency, and heart. It’s small touches like this that remind us why supporting and celebrating our caregivers is so important.

✨ We are also accepting donations of gently used games, puzzles, and card games to keep our library growing—so our caregivers always have something fun to enjoy.

✨ Walking on Air at Carolina Rehab Center of Burke!

During Carolina Rehab of Burke’s monthly Senior Networking Lunch — hosted by SIRS (Senior Information & Education Resource Services) — Visiting Angels had the chance to see something incredible: one of only three zero-gravity treadmills in North Carolina! 🏃‍♂️💨

This $1 million machine can adjust body weight support — so you could walk as if you were 50% lighter. For anyone recovering from surgery or experiencing difficulty walking, it helps retrain muscle memory for a natural gait.

The star of the video? Hunter from the Hickory Foundation YMCA.

We are honored to share this heartwarming story of caregiver Carrie, from Visiting Angels Port Orchard:

"Carrie responded to a call from Meredith and Angela, whose loved one was nearing the end of life. Though we never had the chance to formally provide care, Carrie arrived the next morning to find the family in their final moments together. She stayed by the window, offering comfort and quiet support until their son could arrive.

The words they shared in their 5-star review mean the world to us:
