Are you a compassionate, reliable caregiver with experience supporting individuals with special needs and intellectual/developmental disabilities? We’re looking for a Direct Care Educator who is dedicated to making a meaningful difference every day.

Position: Direct Care Educator (Special Needs / IDD)
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time – Flexible
Location: Hudson, North Carolina

Responsibilities:

* Provide direct care and educational support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
* Assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, meal prep, etc.)
* Implement individualized care and skill-building plans
* Promote independence, dignity, and life skills development
* Document services and progress as required
* Provide safe transportation to appointments and community activities
* Maintain a positive, structured, and supportive environment

Requirements:

* Experience working with special needs and/or IDD population required
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Must be 18 years of age or older
* Valid driver’s license
* Current auto insurance
* Dependable transportation
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to pass background check (if applicable)
