⭐️Meet the Staff Friday!⭐️
Say hello to Olivia Lackey, HHC’s Patient Assistance Program Coordinator. Olivia has worked at HHC for 2.5 years. Her favorite part about her job is helping patients get their medications at no cost to decrease their financial burdens.
More about Olivia:
Olivia also works at UNC Health Urgent Care doing x-rays. She has been happily married for 5 years. Olivia has one daughter in heaven, one son that is 3, and two bonus kids. She enjoys time with the family. Olivia believes iced coffee is a daily necessity. In the summer, you will find her at a pool, river, or beach. Right now she enjoys watching her son play T-ball.

🎉Mission Moment!
At Helping Hands Clinic, we provide access to affordable medical care and prescription medication. Moments like this remind us why we do what we do.
A patient that has been at HHC since 2018 recently shared how much the clinic means to her. “I’m happy with the care at HHC - they provide excellent medical attention for my diabetes and thyroid condition.”
These moments aren’t always big or loud — but they’re meaningful. They’re where our mission comes to life.

Meet Susan Corliss, Helping Hands Clinical Services Manager. Susan has been at HHC for 11 years. When asked what her favorite part of her job was, she said, “It blesses my heart when a patient tells me how thankful they are for all of us here at HHC. I love my job and being able to help those who need it most”.
Get to know Susan:
Susan has been married for 6 years to her wonderful husband. She has a beautiful 22 year old daughter who also works for a nonprofit in Boone. Susan loves to cook (and eat!!). She also loves going on beach trips.

Introducing Cindy Gentry, Helping Hands Medical Assistant! Cindy has been at HHC for almost 2 years. Her favorite part about her job is experiencing the graditude and smiling faces of our patients.
Fun Facts about Cindy:
Cindy retired from Hickory Cardiology after 16 years. She was a caregiver for her husband for 2.5 years. She has 3 wonderful grandchildren that she enjoys spending time with. Cindy loves beach trips, swimming in her pool, canning, picking blueberries, playing dominoes, and spending time with her friends. She also enjoys walking her little dog, Niles.

Say hello to April McKinney, Helping Hands Front Office Coordinator. April has been at HHC for 15 years. Her favorite part of her job is helping people. She states, “some of our patients don't have it as lucky as most and I love to be able to help put a smile on their face.”

April loves her job and helping people. She is married and has 4 grown kids and 3 beautiful grandkids who she loves spending her free time with!

Beginning today Helping Hands pharmacy has a new text message system to help patients get their refills in a more efficient way. If you receive a text that your prescriptions are ready please click on the text and follow the instructions to refill your prescriptions.

Helping Hands Clinic will be closed this morning due to a maintenance issue. If you have a medical appointment, we will call you to reschedule. If you have a lab appointment, please plan to come tomorrow morning. We plan to be open at 1:30 pm.

Meet Brittany Bonn, Helping Hands Executive Director. Brittany has worked at HHC for 3 years. Her favorite part of her job is making sure her neighbors have access to medical care regardless of their resources and knowing that the team at HHC is making a difference everyday.
More about Brittany:
Brittany has worked in nonprofit healthcare for 17 years and her passion is helping folks in her community. She has been married to her husband Derrick for 20 years and has 2 wonderful children. Cooking is her biggest hobby. If she’s not at work, Brittany is probably in the kitchen or boating with her family on the lake!
