So after getting the two units of blood, once again Lew retained fluid. This time they drew out more than five liters. Then he had to get albumin because it was more than five. He has had pain. Compared to last week we see improvement. Lew can barely walk. This is due to hip being bone on bone as well as weakness. The go fund me is to get Lew a scooter so he can go outside and hopefully a motorized wheelchair for inside. He needs a special one to maneuver in their home. Angie and KK moved some furniture out and arranged to make room. Lew said this is the hardest fight he has ever had…but it’s fight or die. Bless each of you that have given. Love our prayer warriors and supporters💙🙏💙

So no blood infusions today. Lew had a very rough night. But he is getting meds and feeling some better. Will rest today and tomorrow and we will try for blood Friday morning. Love you all🙏🙏🙏. We can’t say enough about the wonderful nurses at McCreary Oncology🩷

So a very weak and pale Lew got chemo today. In the morning I take him to get two more units of blood. We are asking that God will bless this blood and allow Lew’s body to absorb it with no complications and hopefully get him feeling stronger. Lew is still fighting, we are still praying and believing. Thank you to all you prayer warriors 🙏💙🙏

Update on Lew. He had four units of blood in a four week period. His hemoglobin is still low. He accumulated fluid in his belly…they removed 4 1/2 liters. Lew’s hip is so bad he is really having trouble walking. He can’t have hip replacement due to chemo. He has accepted that he will be getting a wheelchair. Thus he has also put his boat on marketplace. The past year has been a whirlwind of things gone wrong. The fluid around his heart…but God protected him. The heart surgeon said he was a lucky guy. Then the steroid withdrawal from going off cold turkey…again God protected him. Another y90 procedure. Lew is tired but he is a fighter. Please keep praying. He will have to do a mobility test to get a wheelchair which will be hard on him. But God has him. Thank you all our special prayer warriors🙏

Took Lew to Catawba today. They treated his stoma. Prayers no more bleeding. His cbc is 7.8. Can’t get blood until next week. He is so weak among other things. Thank you so much for praying

Took a very fatigued and short of breath Lew to chemo this morning. He has some swelling and fluid in his ears. It was decided he could take a week off. His blood volume is still low. Thank you for the prayers🙏🙏🙏

This is from Lew💔 Well I don’t know where to start but here goes. Almost two weeks ago I lost 5 1/2 pints of blood. I had chemo the very next day. The day after chemo I received 2 pints of blood. I have been trying to stay active and all but I’m still struggling with it. I’m very tired and now I’m on antibiotics because of fluid in my ear. I’m really struggling right now but I’m not going to give up. God has Blessed me in so many ways I can’t keep up with them all. I want to go fishing with my brother Will this Friday and I hope and pray that I can. Cancer is a fight that I wish I could take away from people. You can’t fight it without God fighting with and for you. This is the hardest fight I’ve been through but God is getting me through it. God Bless you all. Thank you for your prayers. I love each and everyone of you unconditionally. We will get through this. Thank you God for another day.

Hey Everyone;
I am asking YOU to pray over the blood that Lew is getting today. He has been up most of the night with nausea, a terrible headache and extreme exhaustion. Please pray these 2 units of blood will heal, help and get him back to good health again. I’m praying for a miracle. Lew so desperately needs to go fishing and get out of the house. All he has seen since August of last year is a hospital room, doctors offices or staring at the ceiling of our bedroom. His soul needs to see water. That is his happy place. The boat he has now has never been out of our driveway. It’s time for some happy times. Please pray hard. He needs a miracle and you all know who’s on the throne and hears our sincere prayers. Thank you, Gods bless you all and we love you. God is great. The ultimate healer. 🙏🙏🙏🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️
