Catching up on this week's activities. Tuesday we celebrated Veteran's Day with a pinning ceremony by Care Initiatives Hospice.Wednesday during Happy Hour we were educated on different beverages by Mike from the Blind Tiger.

There are people that come into our lives and leave their mark on our hearts. Lucy Barnes left a mark on the hearts of us all at Vintage Park and anywhere else where she was a caretaker for over 30+ years. I had the privilege to work with Lucy for ten of those years. She showed patience, kindness, and love. She treated her tenants with dignity and respect. She loved them as if they were her own family. She made them smile, laugh, and feel safe. She was dependable and willing to share her knowledge with others. She was outspoken, ornery, and maybe just a little sassy at times. Vintage Park was not just where she worked this was her home and we were her people. Fly high Lucy. Love your Vintage Park Family.
