At The UltraWellness Center, care goes far beyond a single appointment — or a single clinician.

Every patient is supported by a highly experienced, board-certified care team trained in both conventional and functional medicine. Physicians, physician assistants, nutritionists, nurses, and patient navigators collaborate closely, reviewing your history, labs, and goals together so nothing is missed and nothing is treated in isolation.

Your first visit is intentionally in-depth. We take the time to listen to your full story, run advanced diagnostic testing, and connect the dots across systems — from gut health and hormones to inflammation, nutrition, stress, and environmental exposures. From there, we build a personalized roadmap designed around *your* biology, not a one-size-fits-all protocol.

This is what functional medicine looks like when it’s practiced with rigor, curiosity, and decades of clinical experience:

✔️ Collaborative, team-based care
✔️ Advanced testing not typically offered in conventional settings
✔️ Integrated nutrition as a core part of treatment
✔️ Thoughtful, science-backed plans designed for lasting healing

If you’ve felt unheard, dismissed, or stuck cycling through symptoms — you’re not alone. And you’re in the right place. Schedule a complimentary call with one of our Patient Care Coordinators to learn more (link in comments).

Gratitude isn’t just a mindset — it’s a measurable biological signal.

Research shows that regular gratitude practices influence key neurochemicals like serotonin, dopamine, and oxytocin, supporting emotional regulation, social connection, and overall well-being. These shifts don’t just affect how we feel — they influence inflammation, stress physiology, cardiovascular health, and long-term resilience.

This is the lens Dr. Cindy Geyer brings to her work every day: translating evidence-based research into practical, sustainable tools patients can actually integrate into real life. Not as a “positive thinking” exercise, but as a nervous system–supportive practice grounded in physiology and behavior change.

At the UltraWellness Center, we approach health as a systems-based equation — biology, lifestyle, environment, and mindset working together. Healing happens when we address root causes, reduce chronic stress load, and support the body’s innate capacity to repair and regulate.

Small, consistent practices — when aligned with personalized medical care — can create meaningful, long-term shifts in health.

Meet Dr. Cindy Geyer, MD — a physician who embodies what functional medicine is meant to be: thoughtful, evidence-based, and deeply human.

Dr. Geyer brings decades of clinical experience and a lifelong passion for lifestyle medicine, with a special focus on women’s health, hormone balance, cardiometabolic health, and aging well. Her work centers on helping patients understand why symptoms are happening — and how small, sustainable changes can create meaningful, lasting shifts in health.

What patients often notice first is her calm presence and compassion. Dr. Geyer believes healing doesn’t come from perfection, but from consistency, curiosity, and self-trust. She meets patients where they are, guiding them with both clinical rigor and genuine care.

As she reminds us: Have compassion for yourself — and don’t let perfection be the enemy of good when it comes to your health journey.

We’re honored to have Dr. Cindy as part of the UltraWellness Center care team.

“I thought this was just how my body was.”

For nearly a decade, Carolyn lived with daily achiness — joints, muscles, fatigue — and assumed it was something she’d have to accept.

That is until she came to the UltraWellness Center where her care looked different. 🤍

✨ A full-day appointment.

✨ A collaborative team — physician, nurse, nutritionist.

✨ A plan that looked at her whole body, not just one symptom.

And within weeks:

✔️ The anxiety she’d lived with her entire life disappeared.

✔️ The achiness in her body went away and she’s been able to enjoy nature hikes again.

Functional medicine at the UltraWellness Center looks like personalized care that connects the dots of your life and addresses your whole-body needs, not just treating one symptom.

We are here to normalize feeling WELL and supported in your health journey. There are answers. There is support.

IV therapy at UltraWellness Center isn’t one-size-fits-all—and you don’t need to be a patient to experience it.

Each IV is clinician-guided and thoughtfully tailored to your goals, whether that’s immune support, recovery, stress regulation, hormone balance, or overall vitality. No quick fixes—just targeted nutrients designed to support your body where it needs it most.

As the year winds down, an IV can be a powerful way to restore, reset, and step into the new year feeling more supported and replenished.

✨ Open to everyone. Personalized for you.

A calm gut isn’t about following a perfect food list.

It’s about understanding WHY your gut feels reactive in the first place.

At UltraWellness Center, we see gut symptoms as signals — not inconveniences to silence. Bloating, discomfort, irregular digestion, and food sensitivities often reflect deeper imbalances involving digestion, inflammation, the microbiome, and how your body responds to stress and nourishment.

Functional foods can be powerful tools for support — but they also work best when paired with a personalized, root-cause approach. That’s where the UltraWellness Center can come in and support. 🤍

When we look at the whole picture, the goal isn’t restriction.

It’s resilience. Ease. And a gut that feels supported day to day.

If your digestion feels unpredictable or uncomfortable, you don’t have to navigate it alone.

Healing starts with listening — not just to symptoms, but to the story behind them.

🩺 Meet Dr. George Papanicolaou, MD, Functional Medicine Physician at The UltraWellness Center. Dr. George believes that true healing happens when we take the time to understand the whole person — their biology, their lived experiences, and how those two are inseparably connected.

🗒️ His clinical areas of focus include attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism, neurodegenerative disorders, and food allergies and sensitivities. His work often centers on complex, chronic conditions where a systems-based, personalized approach can make all the difference

🎤 Dr. George regularly contributes to the UltraWellness Center blog and has been featured on The Dr. Hyman Show, sharing insights on topics ranging from OCD and gut health to blood pressure and the deeper drivers of disease.

As he puts it:

💬 “I can’t understand a patient’s biology if I don’t first understand their biography.”

If you’re seeking care that honors both your story and your physiology, Dr. George is part of the team here to support your healing journey.

We’re often taught that health means control. We need to control your weight. Control your food. Control your body.

But real health is rarely built through force.

As our bodies change, with age, hormones, stress, life, what once worked can stop working. Not because you failed, but because your physiology is asking for something different.

The scale can offer information, but it can’t tell the full story.

It doesn’t reflect inflammation, stress load, hormone shifts, or whether your body feels safe enough to let go.

Sometimes that “stubborn” weight isn’t something to fight — it’s a signal.

A clue that the body is prioritizing protection, stability, and survival.

At UltraWellness Center, we see this every day. When care replaces control, we can support the whole system and the body often finds balance naturally.

And just as importantly, people find peace.

When your gut isn’t working, your whole life starts shrinking.

That’s what happened to Marcela. After a severe stomach infection and rounds of antibiotics, her digestion slowly deteriorated with food intolerances, weight loss, exhaustion, and nights where she couldn’t sleep from discomfort. She felt like she was losing the ability to live her life.

What changed for her was understanding the root cause: an overgrowth of bacteria in her small intestine — something that often goes undiagnosed in traditional care.

With a personalized functional medicine plan, targeted nutrition, and the right testing under the care of Medical Director, Dr. Liz Boham , she felt relief in two weeks and started gaining her strength (and her life) back within months.

Her words still stay with us:

“It sounds dramatic, but it feels like a second opportunity.”

At The UltraWellness Center, this is why we do what we do — not just to treat symptoms, but to help people truly heal and return to the lives they love.

If you’re struggling with ongoing gut issues, fatigue, food reactions, or a diagnosis that still doesn’t feel like the full story… there is a path forward.

To schedule a complimentary session with our UltraWellness team, see the link in the comments. You deserve clarity, answers, and a care plan that helps your whole body come back into balance. ✨

If you’ve been feeling “off” but can’t pinpoint why, you’re not alone.

Crohn’s and ulcerative colitis don’t always start with dramatic symptoms — sometimes the earliest signs are subtle shifts that may be harder to notice.

Here are three early patterns we see at The UltraWellness Center that are often overlooked:

✨ Persistent fatigue
Inflammation can quietly drain your energy long before major flares appear. If your baseline feels lower than normal — that matters.

✨ Digestion feels “off” and lasts more than a few weeks
More bloating, cramping, urgency, or inconsistency can be your gut’s way of telling you there’s inflammation brewing beneath the surface.

✨ Low appetite because food doesn’t feel the same
When chronic inflammation impacts nutrient absorption and gut motility, even familiar foods can feel heavier or harder to tolerate.

What’s important to remember is that IBD is a whole-system condition, affecting gut barrier integrity, immune function, microbiome health, nutrient status, and even your stress + nervous system regulation.

That’s why at The UltraWellness Center, we look beyond symptom management and into the root causes driving inflammation — so you can understand what’s happening in your body and feel supported.
