We had a shamrockin’ good time celebrating St. Patrick’s Day at Leominster Rehab and Nursing Center! 🍀💚

Our residents enjoyed festive favorites like Irish coffee and delicious shamrock shakes, bringing plenty of smiles and cheer throughout the day. To top it all off, our amazing staff came together for a corned beef and cabbage potluck lunch that was nothing short of incredible!

March is National Social Work Month, and we are especially proud to recognize Rebecca, our incredible Director of Social Services here at Leominster Rehab and Nursing Center, who celebrated 2 years with us in February. 💙

Rebecca brings not only compassion and dedication to our residents, but also a wealth of life and professional experience. She began her career in healthcare at just 15 years old as a CNA — a true testament to her lifelong commitment to caring for others.

Rebecca graduated from Mount Wachusett Community College in 2009 with a degree in human services and Criminal Justice and a minor in Law Enforcement, and later earned her Sociology degree from Worcester State University in 2016. Along the way, she has worked in a variety of impactful roles, including supporting individuals in substance abuse recovery and serving as a group home manager for women with traumatic brain injuries at The Arc of Opportunity.

Each step of her journey has shaped the compassionate, knowledgeable, and dedicated leader we are so fortunate to have guiding our Social Services department today. Rebecca, thank you for the heart, professionalism, and advocacy you bring to our residents and families every single day. We truly appreciate you! 🌟

On Fat Tuesday at Leominster Rehab and Nursing Center, we brought the spirit of Mardi Gras right to our community! Residents and staff enjoyed a festive celebration filled with colorful beads, lively music, delicious treats, and plenty of smiles.

From vibrant decorations to joyful laughter, the day was a wonderful reminder of how special it is to come together and celebrate. Our residents truly shined brighter than the beads! ✨

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Officer Johansson for visiting the residents at Leominster Rehab & Nursing Center with his incredible K-9 bloodhound unit! 🐾

Our residents truly enjoyed the special visit and loved learning about the important work these amazing dogs do in our community. Seeing the bond between Officer Johansson and his K-9 partner was such a meaningful experience, and it brought so many smiles (and wagging tails!) to the day.

We are so grateful for the time you spent with us and for your dedication to keeping our community safe. Thank you for making our residents’ day extra special! 💙
