Is your tween navigating the heavy weight of losing a loved one?

Watching your 10 to 14-year-old process grief can leave you feeling helpless. The middle school years are already full of massive transitions, and carrying a loss on top of that can feel incredibly isolating for them. They often feel like nobody their age truly understands.

You don't have to navigate this alone, and neither do they.

Our upcoming Healing Connection Middler’s Grief Group provides a safe, welcoming, and localized space right here in St. Mary's County for tweens to share their experiences, express their feelings through creative activities, and build lasting resilience.

Led by licensed professional Sherrye Urtz, LCPC, this group focuses on peer-to-peer connection;
because healing happens together.

📋 Group Details:

⏰ Time: 1:30 pm – 2:45 pm

While Holiday trauma is not a formal clinical diagnosis, this is a very real phenomenon.

Holiday trauma is emotional distress triggered by the holiday season, often linked to past trauma, grief, family conflict, or unmet expectations.
