✨ The Safety Pin Cycle ✨
In chiropractic, we often use the safety pin as a symbol of how your nervous system connects your brain and body.
Think of your brain and body as the two ends of a safety pin:
🧠 One end is your brain, sending messages down your spine and nerves.
💪 The other end is your body, sending messages back up to your brain.
When the pin is closed, communication is open and flowing — your body and brain are connected, working in perfect harmony.
But when the pin is open, just like with a subluxation (misalignment), that connection is interrupted. Messages can’t travel properly, and your body can’t function at its best.
