Covenant Hospital Levelland is committed to providing charity care to persons who have healthcare needs related to substance/alcohol use dependency and are uninsured, underinsured, or otherwise unable to pay, for the medical stabilization through withdrawal from alcohol, benzos, opioids, 7-OH, and other prescription medications, based on their individual financial situation. Our healthcare facility strives to ensure that the financial capacity of clients who need quality healthcare services does not prevent them from seeking or receiving care. We invite you to take part in a life-saving training designed to help protect loved ones, friends, co-workers, and others who may experience an overdose from prescription opioids or he**in. This training focuses on recognizing an overdose and safely using Naloxone (Narcan) to save lives.

Gummies/Edibles: Marketed similarly to candy with fruit flavors, these are of particular concern to health officials due to their appeal to children and teenagers.
Drink Mixes: Powdered forms designed to be mixed into beverages.
Shots/Liquid Extracts: Pre-mixed, concentrated liquid products, sometimes marketed as energy or relaxation shots.
Powders: Bulk powders containing concentrated 7-OH extract.
Syrups: Liquid concentrates often sold in bulk options.
Ice Cream Cones/Other Novelty Items: Some products have appeared in novelty forms and packaging appealing to youth.

⚠️ The FDA has recommended classifying it as a controlled substance due to its high abuse potential and strong opioid-like effects. ⚠️
🩺 Concentrated 7-OH products (extracts, tablets, liquids) are significantly stronger than natural kratom powder and carry a high risk of dependence, serious side effects (including respiratory depression), and overdose. 🩺

The success of the 180 Service at Covenant Hospital Levelland is not the work of one department or one role—it is the result of an entire team showing up with care, consistency, and compassion every single day.

From our nursing team, who provide skilled, patient-centered care during some of the most vulnerable moments of a person’s life, to dietary, who ensure patients are nourished, comforted, and supported in ways that often go unseen—every role matters.

Environmental services, registration, security, providers, case management, administration, and support staff all play an essential part in shaping a patient’s experience. Recovery and stabilization are not just clinical processes; they are human experiences, and they are made possible by teamwork.

I am deeply grateful to work alongside professionals who understand that how we care is just as important as what we do. The 180 Service works because people care, and it shows in every interaction.

One-Eighty Services Levelland is currently collaborating with Starlite Recovery Center to assist with patient plan of care.
Starlite Recovery Center provides treatment at the residential and intensive outpatient levels for adults age 18 and older of all genders who are struggling with substance use disorders and certain co-occurring mental health concerns. To ensure that each individual receives the focused services that best meet their specific needs, we also offer a variety of specialized treatment programs.
Each patient will be assisted with creating a discharge plan that may or may not include Residential, Partial Hospitalization, or Intensive Outpatient treatment. For many of us, detox and withdrawal are only the first step in our journey of recovery.
