With the roads snow covered, iced in places and sleeting in others our office will closed today. Stay warm and stay safe. We will reopen Monday with regular hours. If you have an emergency call 911 or go to your nearest Emergency Room.

We would like to let our patients and anyone else interested of an upcoming change. Medicare will no longer be covering telehealth visits for medical care beginning October 1st, 2025. Most if not all insurance companies typically follow Medicare changes.

Unfortunately Southern WV Endocrinology will be ending our telehealth service on October 1st because of this Medicare change. If you have a telehealth visit scheduled with our office after this date, we will be rescheduling it to an in office visit. We apologize for this change and the inconvenience it may cause our patients. As a small independent medical practice, we cannot afford to take a chance and not get paid by your insurance for your visit.

We will be offering a cash pay option for telehealth visits. This payment will need to be made prior to your telehealth appointment. We will not bill your insurance for this visit if you decide on this option.

We understand the difficulty travelling long distances, dealing with poor weather conditions, and all the problems that make telehealth such a great option for our patients. So we recommend reaching out to your elected representatives to let them know how this will effect you and your ability to get necessary healthcare.

Our office is going under major renovations over the next weeks due to a water leak. We will remain open and continue to see our patients and take care of their medical needs. We do ask for patience and understanding if we have to reschedule appointments or make changes due to this. We thank you for your understanding.

Due to inclement weather, Southern WV Endocrinology and Sinus/Allergy Center will be closed Monday, January 6, 2025.

The office will be closed Tuesday January 16th 2024 due to inclement weather. All scheduled patients should have received calls or texts to inform them. Once we are back in the office we will reschedule all appointments. We apologize for the inconvenience but feel that for the safety of our patients and staff staying off the roads is best. If you have an emergency please go to your nearest emergency room or call 911.
