A warm and sincere thank you to everyone who blessed me with words of celebration for my birthday! I lack the words to thank you appropriately. However The real reason to give thanks yesterday was to celebrate the Glorious Resurrection of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! For without His finished work on the Cross of Calvary that conquered sin, Satan and death, we would have no hope and no eternal salvation with Him forever in Heaven. So rejoice in Christ if He is your Savior! If not surrender to Him today for He’s coming soon to bring Redemption and Judgement to all who were ever born of woman. ✝️🙏

The promise of 2 Corinthians 1:4-5 reveals that the sorrow of the believer will always be comforted and God places purpose in all travail. In Romans 14:16-18, Abraham, “Who against hope believed in hope…,” ministers to all those in grief with the promise that through Christ there is still hope even after all is lost.

Like so many aspects of life, we have this one backward—and miss the deep intentions of God… “As the heavens are higher than the earth,so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:9

In truth, sorrow and pain are the pathway through the deepest revelations of the heart.

If Jesus felt pain openly and in its fullness, we the church certainly cannot live victorious without walking through our own pain with Our Great Physician. Jesus was a "...Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief.” He did not medicate it, conceal it, deny it or run from it. He walked through it. He embraced it. He endured it. He wept openly as He experienced it.
