Honoring Our Veterans

Here at Advanced Care Chiropractic we work with Veteran Affairs to help our Veterans get the care they need. Pictured here is Kevin Bittenbender with one of our massage therapists Darlene Izzo at a marathon in Pittsburgh this past weekend. Kevin earned 1st place in the 10 mile wheelchair marathon! What a true inspiration! Kevin expressed how thankful he is for the team at ACC, and he credits his win to the care we provide. Although we are confident in our care, the credit belongs to Kevin.

We could never repay our Veterans for their sacrifices. But we can offer assistance in rehabilitation, and a warm smile.

Today, we proudly recognize and honor the brave men and women who have served our nation. Your sacrifice, courage, and dedication protect the freedoms we value, and we are deeply grateful.

HAPPY NATIONAL CHIROPRACTIC DAY! Celebrating 130 years of Chiropractic care!

A look into history: In 1895 Daniel David (D.D.) Palmer performed the very first chiropractic adjustment. Palmer believed that many diseases were caused by misalignments of the spine, which he called subluxations. He believed these interfered with the body's "innate intelligence" by blocking communication through the nervous system. Chiropractic care restored this communication.

He then founded the Palmer School of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. This school is still one of the leading chiropractic colleges today!

His son B.J. Palmer expanded and developed chiropractic into a recognized profession, spreading it widely in the U.S. and internationally.

Also this week: Dr. Michael Morrison, a Palmer graduate, and his wife, Michelle Morrison, are celebrating 20 years of ownership and service at Advanced Care Chiropractic!
