It’s disheartening to learn that after spending as much time and money as we have to make things nicer for our community, that people still find a need to trespass and destroy property. It’s pitiful that we can’t leave things outside on our own property (out of the way and against our own building) without someone intentionally taking something and destroying it. We try to allow people to use our parking lot for various reasons because we like to share what we have with others, but this isn’t the first instance of something like this happening. If people can’t begin to respect other peoples’ property, then we may have to not let anyone on our parking lot outside of regular business hours or during service related events. Everything was clearly caught on camera, and we will be handling everything through the Sheriff’s Office.
