RiverWoods Racers redefine what it means to age boldly!
The Lewisburg Triathlon was filled with determination, teamwork, and unforgettable moments—but none more inspiring than the performance of our very own RiverWoods Racers:
- Mary Ellen (84) – first-time triathlete who didn’t learn to swim until 40
- Elmer (91) – retired postmaster, first time on the bike course
- Norm (82) – lifelong athlete choosing teamwork over sitting it out
Together, this incredible trio proved that age is just a number and that it’s never too late to start something new. With a combined age of 257, they tackled the swim, bike, and run relay with passion and pride—and reminded us all what it means to live life to the fullest.
Congratulations, Racers—you’ve shown us exactly what looks like!
