Terri was bitten by every single dachshund we have ever fostered, once in the face. Chihuahuas and little terriers (yorkies especially) are more prone to biting than most big dogs.
We have never been bitten by a pitbull. 2200 dogs have gone through our rescue, and not one has been returned for biting except one small terrier that was a known biter. Not suggesting that pitbulls don’t bite, but if you talk to most veterinarians, they will say they would much rather work with Pitbulls than these little dogs.
