On November 17th, our Oak Glen staff joined in on a festive Thanksgiving lotto! Each team member received a special ticket and scratched the turkey to reveal their prize.

We ended up with 18 lucky winners, and each one got to choose their favorite type of pie— perfect for celebrating Thanksgiving!

Special thanks to Davy’s for allowing us to put in such a large order of pies in an already busy baking season!

Thank you to all of our wonderful staff for joining in the fun and making this season a little brighter! We are so very thankful for you!

On November 6th, Oak Glen Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center and Riverwoods proudly came together to honor 50 veteran residents from both facilities during our Veterans Day parade.

We were deeply honored to have Grand Marshal James Hostetler, a distinguished veteran of both World War II and the Korean War, led the parade.

A heartfelt thank you to the Lewisburg Area High School Band, the Bucknell University ROTC Color Guard, and our guest speaker, Colonel Peter Semanoff, Professor of Military Science at Bucknell University, for making this event so meaningful.

To all veterans- past and present, near and far- we are deeply grateful for your service. May we never take for granted the freedoms you’ve fought to defend.

🧣💙 Operation Warm Up Winter 💙🧥

As the temperatures drop, many of our local Veterans could use a little extra warmth and comfort this season. ❤️

Oak Glen Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center is proud to host a Blanket & Coat Drive to help make a difference right here in our community.

Every blanket and coat donated will be distributed to local Veterans in the Williamsport area — a small gesture that means so much to those who have given so much for us. 🇺🇸

We had a howling good time celebrating Halloween. From creative costumes to creepy crafts, everyone got into the spooky spirit.

Congratulations to our therapy department for their amazing “Cruella DeVille and her Puppies” costumes… they were frightfully fabulous!

Our therapy gym was transformed into a frightfully delightful haunted adventure filled with laughter and screams (the fun kind)!!

We hosted a trunk or treat with our parking lot pals at riverwoods where staff had a blast sharing sweets and smiles with smallest ghosts and goblins.

A big shout out to our amazing and talented dietary team who prepared some spooky Halloween Treats!

A huge thank-you to our amazing nursing staff for filling the afternoon with joy, laughter, and sweetness of homemade candies! Our residents had a wonderful time making treats together while listening to Patsy Cline spin on the record player — it was like stepping back in time. 💕

We’re so grateful for our caring team who always go above and beyond to make each day special for our residents!

According to Charles Schwab, “The way to develop the best that is in a man is by appreciation and encouragement!” This past week, our staff engaged in a fun team-building activity that included ghost hunting and prize collection. In honor of National Taco Day, we enjoyed a taco-only meal today.
