Feeling like you’re in a Funk??
The mental and physical stress are interwoven
I notice myself becoming more and more irritable. My physical ailments begin to cripple me mentally. I lash out in anger and frustration and don’t seem to be acting like myself. Muscles tighten, and my mind becomes restless and discontent. Snapping at others because my insides are in turmoil.
The practice of Yoga, mindfulness, and meditation are essential to unwind the mental anguish. As I release the grips mentally and become spiritually grounded, my physical ailments release. The tight interwoven gripping of frustration and anger soften and my mind relaxes. I feel more at peace. There is relief in finding the path to freedom. Free from anger. Free from self pity and resentment.
Friday mornings we Rise and Shine with Yoga at 8am at The Gym. It begins our day with grounding and relaxing movement, ready to start the day.
