The whole “Choose your Hard” trend?
Yeah… I don’t love it.
Because most midlife women ALREADY choose hard.
Hard is…
➡️ Dieting for 30 years.
➡️ Living on coffee and protein bars.
➡️ Doing more cardio when your body is exhausted.
➡️ Feeling guilty every time you eat.
➡️ Pushing through workouts your body can’t recover from.
➡️ Trying plan after plan after plan.
➡️ Watching your body change and not understanding why.
You don’t need more hard.
You need a better strategy.
Midlife is not a discipline problem.
It’s not that you’re lazy. It’s not that you lack willpower. It’s not that you’re not trying.
It’s that your physiology changed…
and no one updated the playbook.
More stress + less fuel + more cardio + less recovery
= cortisol = inflammation = muscle loss = fat gain = exhaustion = feeling like your body betrayed you
And then all the influencers tell you to…
“Choose your hard.”
No f@cking thank you.
When your training is right… When your nutrition is right… When your recovery is right… When your nervous system is regulated…
your habits stop feeling hard.
They become your identity.
You train because that’s who you are. You fuel because that’s who you are. You take care of yourself because that’s your standard.
That’s what I teach.
