Sticker Shock is a public awareness campaign that reminds adults of the legal and social consequences of providing alcohol to minors. These students from Huntingdon Area High School took time out of their day to help place over 900 stickers on alcohol products at 4 Huntingdon County distributors. We want to thanks these students for their time and effort in supporting this important campaign. We'd also like to thank Strickler's Ice, Bottled Water & Cold Beer, Raystown Beverage, Mount Union Beverage, and Price Beverage in Shirleysburg for allowing these wonderful students, Prevention Specialist from Mainstream Counseling, and Tri-Co Prevention Specialist to come into their places of business to support this cause. Due to the federal government shutdown, SNAP benefits will not be paid until the federal government provides funding for SNAP, and we are unable to begin the 2025-26 LIHEAP season.
