It’s been almost 5 years since we lost Daris. We continue to keep her memory alive each day. We created a scholarship in honor of her and have been able to give out 9 thus far. Mifflin County High School Seniors can apply for this for their ongoing education.

Join us on March 24th at Harshbarger's Sub 'n Malt (dine in or take out) to help raise funds for our scholarship. A portion of sales will go towards the Daris Shelley-Ciecierski Memorial Scholarship if you show them this yellow ticket! You can show staff the post or a screenshot of the post. This fundraiser night includes BOTH locations- McVeytown and Port Royal.

🥶 Brrr—it’s cold out there, Pennsylvania. This cold can freeze Narcan stored in cars, bags, or outdoor kits.

When frozen, the naloxone spray won’t work. Let it fully thaw at room temperature (about 15 minutes), and it will be effective again.

If an overdose is suspected, don’t wait—call 911 right away. If the person isn’t breathing or is breathing slowly, provide rescue breathing until Narcan can be given and help arrives.
