"This recent systematic review investigated vestibular sensory processing in individuals with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder (BD). This review highlights unique patterns of vestibular dysfunction in schizophrenia and BD, offering valuable insights for clinical practice and research. Findings suggest that schizophrenia is marked by difficulties in sensory integration and postural control, whereas BD shows mood-dependent vestibular differences, particularly when anxiety is present."
