Friends of Crossroads Pregnancy Center

Crossroads opened its doors to the community on March 19, 1985, and now spans three counties; Mifflin, Juniata, and Huntingdon.

Friends of Crossroads Pregnancy Center is for supporters of Crossroads Pregnancy Center who offers help, hope, and healing in Jesus’ name and upholds the sanctity of life by providing education, medical services, practical assistance, and ongoing support. Our Staff and Volunteers have come from all walks of life, some having dealt with the consequences of an unplanned pregnancy. We believe that no

woman should feel so unsupported that abortion seems to be her only choice. Life is sacred and we uphold the sanctity of life in our communities by sharing truth, unconditional love, and compassion for those in unexpected pregnancy situations, as well as helping those who choose life to find the assistance and referrals they need. Our board of directors consists of men and women committed to upholding the principle of the sanctity of human life. Crossroads is a non-profit, Christ-centered ministry, and we are followers of Jesus Christ. Crossroads is supported by individuals, churches, businesses within the community, and the Huntingdon and Mifflin/Juniata County United Way. Crossroads receives no state or federal funding. Our mission is to reach out to those in need by offering help, hope, and healing in Jesus’ name.

There is Help Here! Amy Miller, Client Services Manager

One day, as I was stocking shelves with the most recent donations we’d received from Crossroads’ annual diaper drive, a young mother walked in off the street.

Distraught, shaking, tearful, she struggled to balance her toddler on her slender hip. She mumbled something about diapers and help. Then the tears rolled as she braced herself against the front counter in our lobby...

Introducing our Guest Speaker at Annual Fundraising Banquet 2025: Wendy Burpee

Wendy Burpee is the Executive Director for Genesis Women’s Clinic in Pottstown and Phoenixville, PA. She is certified as a Biblical counselor specializing in pro-life counseling and domestic abuse and the author of Running Toward Abortion.

“Abortion, domestic abuse, shame and hopelessness could have been the end of Wendy’s story, but God had a different plan for her life. He rescued her and gave her a passion for the unborn.

Her past experiences have uniquely gifted her with the ability to speak to women facing unplanned pregnancy and allow them to see the truth about the precious life they carry. Her story allows you to see the wreckage abortion causes and the mercy of our loving heavenly Father.”

This is Caitlin Myers, our Executive Assistant. Caitlin is dedicated to her work, ensuring that our staff, clients, and overall operations are running smoothly and cost-effectively. She is often working behind the scenes by helping with payroll, balancing our accounts, planning and working our events, and so much more! Believe us! We appreciate all the hard work she does here at Crossroads!

We asked Caitlin what her favorite part of her job is. She gets a unique look and perspective at the ministry. She gets to see your generosity.

"One of the biggest parts of my job is entering and tracking all of the donations that come in and I love getting to see all the support for our ministry and praying over our donors. Each one is so important to our ministry and I feel so blessed to be a part of it!"
