Full and Part time Positions Available.
Job Duties: To care for residents in an Assisted Living environment while helping to maintain the resident’s quality of life with dignity and respect.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living
• Maintain resident documentation as needed
• Obtain residents vitals as directed
• Prepare and serve meals as needed
• Distribute resident medications for their self-administration
• Restock supplies
• Clean resident rooms and common areas as scheduled
• Provide laundry services to residents
• Dust all furniture, lamps/light fixtures, wall vents, handrails, ceiling fans, baseboards, blinds, and doorknobs.
• Checks sofas and chairs for debris, vacuuming and spot cleaning as needed.
• Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop other floors. Shampooing and spot cleaning may be required.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms (resident’s and common ones).
• Check and refill paper towel, toilet paper, and soap dispensers daily, including dining room, activity room, tub and shower rooms, and public bathrooms.
• Clean inside of windows and mirrors. Clean outside windows when weather permits
• Empty trash in resident rooms and common areas daily.
• Wipe down walls and doors as needed.
• Identify potential maintenance issues and notify Manager.
• Stock supply closet while maintaining an orderly fashion.
• Demonstrate safe and proper techniques for chemical/cleaning solution use and stocking housekeeping cart.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor

Educational Requirement: High school education or equivalent preferred but not required. Previous direct care experience desired but will train the right candidate. Must have the ability to effectively read and/or write resident and internal staff communications.
Physical Demands: Walking and standing for greater than 70% of shift. Must be able to frequently sit, stand, bend, and stoop. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs., and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Caregivers are required to use proper body mechanics when assisting and transferring residents.
Shifts: Full-time and Part-time, all shifts. Most positions require at least an occasional weekend.
