Hello clients. I have some important announcements and unfortunately they’re not my favorite announcements to make. Since opening in December of 2022 I have tried my hardest to avoid the enforcement of the late arrival, late cancellation, and no show policies. But in the last 7 days I have had 7 either no shows or last minute cancellations (within an hour or less of the scheduled appointments).
While the causes of short-notice or no-notice cancellations vary, each one comes at a cost to my business. When a client doesn’t keep their appointment and doesn’t provide me with enough notice to fill that slot in my schedule, I lose both time and money.
I understand emergencies arise and illnesses occur at inopportune times. If you have a fever or known infection 24 hours prior to your appointment I kindly request you reschedule. Inclement weather is also a common result of needed cancellation. I will do my best to give advance notice of impending cancellations due to weather and I ask you do the same. These reason’s typically will not result in missed session charges but this is all determined on a case by case basis.
As of Friday, August 1st these policies and fees will be put into effect.
Late arrival (15+ minutes late): asked to reschedule, $25 fee
48 hours+ cancellation: preferred (no charge)
Less than 24 hour cancellation: first offense (50% of service)
Second offense and on (100% of service)
No show: (100% of service) 3 no shows in one year will result in termination of any and all future appointments.
Fees will be due at your next scheduled appointment.
I respect and value all of my loyal clients and the business you all have provided throughout the years. This decision was not made without many hours of careful consideration. I ask for understanding and patience in the enforcement of these new policies.
