Yesterday, we had the privilege of celebrating Veterans Day with our incredible SNF residents, IL cottagers, and dedicated staff. It was a beautiful day to honor the brave men and women who have served our country with courage and sacrifice. A huge thank you to PJ from 365 Hospice for helping make this special celebration possible — your support means so much!

Our staff showed their patriotic spirit by wearing red, white, and blue in honor of our veterans, and the pride and gratitude throughout our community was truly inspiring. To all who have served — we thank you today and every day. Here are a few pictures we captured from this special day. ❤️🤍💙

October was Physical Therapy Month, and even though we’re a few days late, we didn’t want to miss the chance to give a huge thank you to our amazing Physical Therapy team!

Your dedication, compassion, and expertise help our residents regain strength, independence, and confidence every single day! From encouraging smiles to creative treatment plans, you make such a difference in every step of recovery, and it doesn’t go unnoticed.

We’re so grateful for all that you do — not just October, but all year long. Let’s give a shoutout to our PT superheroes!

Halloween Spirit Week: Day 5 - Costume Day

We wrapped up the week with a costume dress up day and halloween party, and it was a frightfully fun time! From creative costumes to spooky treats, everyone brought their best Halloween spirit.

They brought the fun and festive flair to our day while continuing to provide the wonderful care our residents deserve. Your enthusiasm and participation make our community such a special place to be!

Thank You for a Spooktacular Trick-or-Treat! 🎃

We want to send a thank you to everyone who came out and spent time with our residents last night! Your smiles, laughter, and amazing costumes made the evening extra special.

We hope everyone enjoyed the candy and had as much fun as we did seeing all the creative outfits. Our residents absolutely loved handing out candy and being part of such a fun community tradition. We already can’t wait for next year! 👻

Our residents had a boo-tiful afternoon at their Halloween Party last week! The room was filled with laughter, festive tunes, and some frightfully fun costumes from our staff who stopped in (check the last slide 😉).

Everyone enjoyed delicious Halloween snacks, a few games, and of course some delicious candy! A big thank-you to our amazing residents and staff who brought the Halloween spirit to life. 🧡

🎃👻 Trick or Treat at Greenwood! 👻🎃

Join us for a spooktacular night of candy, costumes, and fun in our Multipurpose Room on Tuesday, October 28th from 6:00 – 8:00 pm! This event is open to the community, so bring your children, friends, and Halloween spirit!

We’re also accepting candy bag donations to help make this event even sweeter for all that can attend — you can leave them with our receptionist anytime before the event or call in to our activities director, Amanda, to see what is needed (717-242-1416).
