This week, our residents requested a cozy start to fall — and we delivered with some delicious seasonal favorites! 🧡

Nothing says comfort like a warm bowl of chicken corn soup and the sweet, spiced goodness of homemade apple dumplings. The activity room was filled with the smells and smiles of the season.

We love bringing a little seasonal joy to the activity room! 🍁

A huge thank you to everyone who participated in the PA Project Firstline Respiratory Escape Room this week!

Together, we joined forces with Captain Germ B. Gone to defeat the pesky Clutterbug Flu Virus — and thanks to your teamwork, brainpower, and infection control skills, you all made it out safely!

We loved seeing your enthusiasm and creativity in action. Not only did you escape the room, but you also helped spread the message (not the germs!) about keeping our spaces safe and clean. Thanks Team Greenwood 💕

This week was full of fun at Greenwood!! Our residents enjoyed an Ice Cream Sundae Party—topped with all the goodies! We also got crafty with a Bead Making Party, creating beautiful jewelry and custom wheelchair & walker charms. So much joy, laughter, and color all around!

Yesterday we celebrated a truly incredible milestone — one of our residents turned 104 years old! 🥳

Surrounded by friends, family, and plenty of cake, we honored over a century of memories, wisdom, laughter, and love!! We were so honored to spend our afternoon celebrating with you and your family.

Here’s to 104 years of a life well-lived — and many more special moments to come 💕

A huge THANK YOU to Marty from Serpents and Claws Reptiles/Rescue or stopping by last week and giving our residents and staff an unforgettable experience! 🐍🦎

Marty’s fun-filled, hands-on educational demo had everyone engaged, curious, and even a little brave as they got up close with some incredible reptiles. It was a unique and exciting opportunity to learn more about these amazing animals and the important work of rescue and rehabilitation.

We’re so grateful for your time, knowledge, and passion, Marty — come back anytime!

Wrapping Up CNA Week in Style!

As CNA Week comes to a close, we’re filled with gratitude for our incredible Certified Nursing Assistants who bring so much heart, care, and dedication to our community every single day.
We celebrated our final day with a Pink Dress-Up Day — and our team did not disappoint! From rosy scrubs to head-to-toe pink flair, the spirit was strong and the smiles even stronger! 💖

Meanwhile, our amazing residents enjoyed a sunny Fishing Day — and they caught some cool fish… in pink! That’s right — it was a fun and colorful way to end a week full of love, laughter, and appreciation.

Thank you to everyone who made this week so special. CNA Week 2025 has truly been one to remember!
