going to the OBGYN shouldn't be the worst day of the year. Tampons should slide in with little to no discomfort. Sexual pe*******on should feel the same.

SO many times, we see women late in life due to pain in the bedroom and when we dig into their history, they were never really able to wear tampons and each year their PAP was also so painful!

as pelvic floor physios, we are trained to be able to identify the root cause of your pain: pelvic floor muscle tightness, scar tissue, autoimmune changes, hormonal changes to name a few. Each root cause having its own path towards freedom!

Do you have pain with exams, tampons or s3x? does your daughter? Niece? granddaughter? lets get educated and get a plan in place to kick your pain to the curb!

Diastasis Recti: Let's Clear Up The Fear

DR (diastasis recti) has become a hot topic issue, and what we've found is that it's been extremely limiting to fitness in and around pregnancy.

What is DR?
DR is when your top layer of abdominal wall drifts apart, creating a gap. This can show up as visual changes in your core, and can impact how your core activates and turns on.

The Old Story (That's Wrong):
For many years, practitioners, courses, and of course, the internet have blamed specific exercises like sit ups for causing DR. This has left so many women scared and paralyzed, thinking they may mess up their bellies or cause something wrong.

The Truth (Based On Current Research):
As more research emerges on pregnant women, we've actually found that is NOT TRUE.
DR is complicated, with most DR linked to genetics. We've even found almost the opposite: overall, women need to continue to train their core and maintain strength in their abdominal walls in order to have better outcomes postpartum.

So while this post may be a little click baity, here's what we actually want you to know:
✓ It's more complex than "don't do sit ups"
✓ You need to keep moving and exercising
✓ It's very person specific

If you're concerned and want up to date guidance and research on how to best exercise in and around your pregnancy, check out our BirthRx program.

Healthy Bladder = Happy Pelvic Floor 💧
Happy Pelvic Floor = Better S3x, Stronger Core, No Leaks, No Pain 🔥
Yeah… it really matters.

Here’s the truth:
Even if you drink tons of water 💦 or were told you have a “small bladder” (hi, Mom 🙋‍♀️), bladder habits can get off track. That “wiring” affects way more than you think—especially your pelvic health.

Let’s reset the standard 👇

🧠 Our Bladder Goals:
✅ Go every 2–4 hours (not every 30 minutes)
✅ P*e should be a steady stream—no pushing
✅ No “just in case” bathroom trips every time you leave the house 🚫
✅ Empty fully, no hovering
✅ No leaking. Ever. It’s common, not normal.

Bladder and pelvic floor health is not just about peeing—
It’s about strength, stability, confidence, and quality of life 💪

Start with awareness. Build better habits.
Your body will thank you 💛
