Creekview Family Dentistry

Creekview Family Dentistry Our mission is to provide outstanding, holistic, personalized dental care with honesty and skill. In 1998, our very own Dr. Shirley E. Call to book yours!

Mathew opened Creekview Family Dentistry. Today, she couldn’t be happier to be on our team of Lewisville dentists helping patients of all ages achieve their healthiest smiles. She has completed extensive training in many areas of dentistry, particularly sleep apnea treatment, dental implants, and orthodontics. We also have Dr. Elizabeth T. Samuel, who has over 20 years of experience since graduating from the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine and specializes in areas like cosmetic dentistry and CEREC same-day dental crowns. Alongside her is Dr. Mayada Al-Tamimi, who graduated from the University of Montreal and provides general dentistry that sets patients at ease. Our team is dedicated to your comfort, which is why we offer sedation dentistry as well as comprehensive services for the whole family. We’re open early and late during the week and even have Saturday hours, making it easy to fit appointments into your schedule.

Plaque is a soft, sticky film of bacteria that forms on your teeth daily, while tartar is hardened plaque that builds up when it isn’t removed in time 🦷

Once plaque turns into tartar, it can’t be brushed away and needs a professional cleaning to remove it and protect your gums.

Did you know plaque can harden that quickly? Tell us what you’ve heard or experienced in the comments! 😄

If you’re enjoying the holiday goodies, try sipping water between drinks, choosing tooth-friendly snacks, and rinsing your mouth after sweets to help protect your smile.

Sharp discomfort when eating ice cream or sipping hot coffee can be a sign of tooth sensitivity. It often happens when enamel wears down or gums pull back, leaving the inner part of the tooth more exposed.

Using toothpaste made for sensitive teeth and brushing gently can often help reduce the discomfort. 🦷
