We are pleased to be reopened and providing eye care to all of our wonderful patients again.
Due to the continued measures in place to social distance and control the spread of COVID-19, we have received guidance from the American Optometric Association and Texas Optometry Board, and we will be following these additional measures:
1. If the patient is a minor, only one parent will be allowed with the patient. Non-scheduled family members or siblings will not be allowed in the office. Our goal is to minimize the number of people in our office for the time being.
2. All patients will be required to wear a mask while in the office. Due to our own limited access to personal protective equipment (PPE), we will be unable to provide masks for you. So, please bring your own. If you forget and have no other alternatives, we will have a small number available to sell for $3.00 each.
3. Everyone who enters our front door will be required to sanitize hands upon arrival.
4. Everyone who enters our front door will be screened with questions related to COVID-19 symptoms.
If you, or your minor patient, are having any health issues, we ask that you please reschedule your appointment.
5. We will take the temperature of everyone who enters the office. If your temperature registers at 100.5 or higher, you will be asked to leave the office and reschedule your appointment.
6. While in the office, please keep social distancing in mind. Always remain 6 feet, or more, away from others who are not members of your immediate family.
Again, we appreciate your patience and understanding as we implement these additional measures.
If you have any questions about these new protocols, please feel free to email or call us with your specific questions. We look forward to seeing you and your family very soon.
Sincerely,
Dr. Saretta Zanjanchian
