Today's limited edition item is a set of zippered cotton pillow covers from India. It includes two stylish fair-trade pillow covers. Black tassels accent the large black and off-white pillow cover, and Artisans create a totally unique genuine leather “basket weave” pattern on the front of the lumbar pillow cover. I have no new deals today, but come back tomorrow for a limited edition item at noon.

For today I want to share the story behind some of my favorite on sale earrings. The Prima Sari Set are all made in India, where women lack educational and work opportunities. Our artisans are creating lives for themselves and for their families. Single moms are another to provide for their children and even send their daughters to school. Education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty and through your purchase that's happening.

Personally I'm obsessed with all things recycled sari. The fabrics are so pretty and soft, and recycling reduces our waste which is huge in fair trade. When I first saw the Prima Sari Set I liked it, but when I learned the beads are made from recycled saris... you better believe I loved it! How cool is that? I've done it!! I have super sensitive skin and ears and never got my ears pierced because I doubted I could wear anything anyway. However, when we got these earrings last year I just had to try!

After several months of healing and experimenting I think I've figured it out! I couldn't wear these for a minute without them itching before, but now they've been in for over an hour and no problems! Check it,
my ear ain't even red!

I just wish these earrings weren't long out of stock. :'( Make sure you hit up our Black Friday sale before your favorites go away forever like these did.
