The longest night of the year is almost here.

Yule, the Winter Solstice, marks the quiet turning point when the light begins its slow return.

For generations, this moment has been honored not by rushing forward, but by gathering.

By sitting in the dark. By listening.

This Saturday at 7:00pm, we gather in candlelight for our 3rd Annual Yule Sound Bath + Ritual at The Sound Healing Center of Lexington.

Amy Hudson will guide the evening with crystal singing bowls, while Lynna Nguyen of Creatures of Whim leads a seasonal ritual rooted in the symbolism of Yule.

Together, sound and ceremony create space for reflection, clarity, and gentle renewal as we welcome the return of the light.

This offering has sold out the past two years.

Sound Healing Meditation with Adam Sutherland

Five gongs will anchor the evening, creating low, rolling waves of sound that help soften tension, quiet the mind, and wake up the solar plexus, the center of confidence and intention.

Join Dr. Arin Levy of Enso Sounds & Healing Arts for an immersive gong meditation that invites you to slow down, listen deeply, and reconnect with presence.

You’ll be surrounded by the resonant tones of up to 16 gongs, singing bowls, and other sound elements—an enveloping field of vibration designed to support nervous system regulation, reflection, and rest.

The evening begins with gentle grounding and a guided meditation to help you fully arrive. This week reminded me just how true it is—it really does take a village.

I’m so grateful for the family, friends, and community who stepped in when life suddenly shifted. From those who cared for my kids to those keeping The Sound Healing Center running in my absence, every act of kindness has been a reminder that none of us do this alone.

A friend and regular attendee () recently donated nearly 100 books, everything from Norse mythology and Tarot to Astrology and other sacred teachings.

Instead of selling them, I wanted to create something that could be shared.

So, we’ve opened a Community Book Exchange.

A “Take a Book, Leave a Book” library built on trust, kindness, and curiosity.

When you come in for a sound healing session, you’re welcome to borrow a book that calls to you.

When you’re finished, return it so someone else can enjoy it.

And if you have a book of your own you’d like to share, add it to the collection.

Each page holds a spark of wisdom, comfort, or inspiration just like the sounds that fill our space each week.

Whether you join us for a session or bring a book to exchange while you’re here, I hope you find something that speaks to your spirit.
