We really felt heartbroken 💔 about Dori. She was hurt so bad last week and hospitalized last weekend. we took her to the vet today & the x-ray result that he has evidence of a partial cruciate tear also she has Canine parvovirus (parvo) Symptoms and anemia which has been causing her loss of weight and unexpected blood vomit. Despite various blood tests, x-rays and a sonogram💔, the vet is unable to diagnose the cause for the anemia and the blood vomit.She needs to be transferred to and examined by an Internist but we have not been able to get an appointment until early August.💔💔💔
We are very concerned and wish we could bring Dori to the States for treatment but her needs to be on IV 24/7 for now as she’s condition is way too delicate for air travel. 😭😔💔
She will remain hospitalized with the local vet and hope the IV treatment with antibiotics, vitamins and other supportive care will help her fight the anemia so that we can bring her to Lexington for more intensive care. 💔💔
