In addition to massage therapy and healing arts, music is another passion of mine. My sweetheart Mike and I have an acoustic duo together, called One Lane Bridge. We like to describe our music as soulful Americana with a European folk flair. We will be returning to our beloved Kentucky Native Café 12-2pm on Sunday, August 17th, for a beautiful afternoon of live music, delicious food and drinks, and a great fellowship of friends, both old and new, in the magical garden that Kentucky Native Café is. Spent three blessed weeks in Belarus, visiting my family and celebrating my beautiful Mama’s 70th birthday. It was the first time in 25 years, since I moved to the United States, that I got to be there for my Mom’s birthday in person. Pure magic. So grateful. ❤️

The signs are in!! All the way from Galway, Ireland!! I had no idea when I was ordering these beauties, that , a small family-owned business consisting of John, his wife Elaine and their two young children, was located in Ireland! I visited Ireland in 2010 and spent a couple of days in Galway. I absolutely fell in love with this beautiful land. Receiving these signs is a sign to me that it’s time to go back to Ireland for another visit, and this time take my sweetheart along for the adventure! Mike already knows that he will be ordering some of these signs for his Bourbon Barrel Guitar Company, too! John was absolutely fantastic to work with! Cannot recommend them enough!

Looking through the precious old photos of the sweet historic building in the Athens community in Lexington, KY, where my new massage studio is going to be, going through a major renovation in the late 1970’s, around the time I was born. Dr. and Mrs. Carl H. Scott and their family owned this building, known as the historic Marshall Tavern (built circa 1820’s), the building right next to it, known as the historic Aubrey Inn (built circa 1790), and the building diagonally across the road, known as the historic Rose’s Store (built circa mid-1800’s), and they were the ones that initiated and carried out all that tremendous amount of restoration and renovation, breathing new life into these buildings and ensuring that they would stand for another century or two. It was a true labor or love, and we are so grateful to the Scott family. Almost half a century later, a few things needed to be repaired, replaced and updated. My fiancé Mike, the craftsman extraordinaire, has been doing all the current renovations for the last two months. The biggest project was to take the old stairwell apart and put it back together in order to level the steps. Another cool artistic project was renovating the bathroom in the room that is going to be the massage room. The last several days have been dedicate to painting. We are thinking about creating a time capsule for the future generations - so fun! I am counting days until I can start hosting my clients for massages in this beautiful, inspiring and healing space! ❤️

This was the beautiful treasure that I rented a whole U-Haul truck for, to bring it from the former Whole Mama massage room at Solutions functional medicine and hormone health clinic in Lexington, KY to my new massage studio in Athens (still part of Lexington, KY!) I am so grateful to be able to take it along with me on my new adventure - thank you, Keisha!! Anne Rust, the founder and first owner of Baby Moon, purchased this picture to go into one of the massage rooms in the beautiful new Baby Moon massage studio built from scratch by Anne’s husband Aaron, carpenter and woodworker extraordinaire, in 2014 next to Baby Moon yoga studio at our original location on Richmond Road. This stunning ocean wave canvas has been with me in the massage room for 10 years in all three of our locations in Lexington - Richmond Road, Southland Drive and Wellington Way. All the magic and healing it has witnessed and soaked up! I have a perfect spot for it in my new massage room! Can’t wait to take you all on a virtual tour once my massage studio is ready! After faithfully and joyfully serving Baby Moon and Whole Mama families for the last 18 years as a licensed massage therapist, with Whole Mama closing its doors at the end of 2024, I am starting my private massage practice, and will continue serving the families of Central Kentucky through therapeutic, prenatal, postnatal, and specialty massage.

My new massage office will be in the heart of the historic district of Athens community on the eastern side of Lexington, Kentucky, 20 minutes straight out Richmond Road from downtown Lexington, at the intersection of Athens Boonesboro and Cleveland Roads, in a beautiful historic building with 200 years of stories to tell. It’s been lovingly renovated for the last two months , and I will start seeing clients there by this coming weekend!

I am so grateful to Anne Rust, the founder and the first owner of Baby Moon, Julie Six, the second owner of Baby Moon, and Keisha Snipp, the third owner of Baby Moon, later Whole Mama, for leading and nurturing this amazing community of Central Kentucky families for 21 years. I am so grateful to all of our most amazing team members and fantastic business allies over the years who have so generously shared their gifts and poured so much love into serving our sweet families . And most importantly, I am so grateful to our dear families for including us in such a special time in their lives – bringing their precious babies into the world, and letting us support them on their parenting journey, as well as all the clients and students who have entrusted us with their wellness care.
