Celebrating the first night of Hanukkah at Bridges🕎✨

Our residents spent the afternoon making beautiful Hanukkah paper chains to decorate the space, filling the room with creativity, laughter, and meaningful conversation. It was a joyful way to welcome the Festival of Lights together and brighten our home with handmade décor and holiday spirit. 💙

The sweet golden retriever, Myles visited in a Santa costume, bringing smiles, laughter, and plenty of tail wags to everyone. Proof that the best kind of holiday cheer sometimes comes on four legs ❤️🎄

What a beautiful moment to witness today 💙

We had pianist and singer, Dan Kirouac in today for live entertainment and had a packed room with residents and family singing along to the classic songs. It was a wonderful afternoon.

Music has a special way of bringing generations together, and today was a perfect reminder that the simplest moments often mean the most 🎹✨

This week in Bridges Crafting Corner, we had a delightful time creating festive Christmas trees using strips of colorful paper! With bright colors, creativity, and lots of holiday cheer, each handmade tree became a beautiful expression of the season. 🎄

This week we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming The Singing Grandpops back to Bridges Lexington, and what a treat it was! Dressed in fun costumes, they filled the room with laughter, toe-tapping music, and hilarious comedy skits that had everyone smiling and singing along.

Moments like these remind us how powerful music and laughter can be in bringing people together.

This afternoon we were treated to a fantastic performance by entertainer Brian Kane, who filled the room with the smooth, joyful sounds of his saxophone. 🎶

Residents tapped their toes, swayed along, and enjoyed an atmosphere full of nostalgia, connection, and great music. It’s moments like these that bring our community together and brighten everyone’s day. 💛

Today’s exercise class at Bridges was filled with laughter, movement, and… pool noodles! 😄🏊‍♀️

Residents used colorful noodles for stretching, balance practice, light strength training, and a few fun games that had everyone smiling. It’s amazing how something so simple can bring so much energy and joy to a workout!

Our community smelled amazing today! We spent the afternoon making cinnamon apple sauce ornaments with our residents, and the joy was just as sweet as the scent. 🍎 🎄

From mixing the dough to cutting out festive shapes, everyone jumped in with creativity, laughter, and plenty of holiday spirit. Now our halls—and our hearts—are a little warmer as these handmade ornaments dry and get ready to hang on our Christmas tree. ❤️

🎄✨ Holiday Crafting has begun!✨🎄

Today in Bridges Crafting Corner, the room was full of creativity, color, and Christmas cheer! Our residents made the cutest little Christmas trees using pipe cleaners, and each one turned out beautifully unique. 💚✨

It was wonderful watching everyone twist, shape, and decorate their trees while sharing stories and laughter. These simple moments truly bring out the magic of the season.
