                                        COVID-19 is not over.
Let’s repeat: COVID-19 IS NOT OVER.
Lexington reported a new 1-day high yesterday, with 409 COVID-19 cases, bringing the total to 18,108 since the outbreak began in March. There have been 705 cases the first 2 days of December, with increases likely to continue the next few weeks because of the Thanksgiving holiday.
There were also 3 new deaths reported yesterday (people in their 50s, 60s and 70s), with 123 total during the outbreak.
To help slow the spread of COVID-19, please follow these guidelines ALL THE TIME:
• Wear a cloth face-covering in public
• Avoid close contact with others
• Wash your hands often
• Stay home if you are sick.
