Roaring Brook Recovery

Roaring Brook Recovery We meet you where you are in your recovery. We get to know you and your story to build an evidence-based recovery program, rooted in the 12-step program

Recovery is not a destination. It is a way of living. Our evidence-based treatments provide a toolbox for your recovery. With these tools, we build a plan specifically for you. Although recovery is as unique as a fingerprint, it is a shared experience. Our center is a warm, welcoming space designed for fellowship. We believe that connection is the opposite of addiction. And together, we can get where we want to go.

🎉🎂 Happy Birthday, Victor! 🎂🎉

Today, the Roaring Brook family is celebrating something truly special. Not only is today Victor Rivera’s birthday, but it also marks 13 years of continuous sobriety—a milestone that reflects incredible courage, commitment, and grace.

Victor’s compassion for others, his humility, and his steady calm in any storm set the tone for everything we do at Roaring Brook. His leadership has helped guide and inspire countless lives, and none of it would be possible without the work he has done on himself over the past 13 years.

We are deeply grateful for the heart, integrity, and example Victor brings to our community every single day. Please join us in wishing our CEO an unforgettable birthday and congratulating him on 13 years of recovery. 💙

🎈👏 Happy Birthday, Victor! 👏🎈

✨🕎 Happy Hanukkah from all of us! 🕎✨

Hanukkah is the story of a small flame that refused to go out. When there seemed to be only enough oil for one day, it lasted for eight—an unexpected miracle fueled by faith, perseverance, and hope.

Recovery can feel much the same. In the beginning, it may seem like you don’t have enough strength, time, or energy to keep going. With support, commitment, and courage, what once felt impossible becomes a living miracle.

May this season remind us all that hope multiplies, healing is possible, and miracles happen one day at a time.

💙 Wishing you peace, light, and continued strength this Hanukkah. 💙

When you’re deep in the internal work - managing stress, letting go of old patterns, creating healthier habits - it can seem like you’re moving in circles. In reality, you may be progressing in ways you can’t yet see. Sometimes all it takes is a small shift in perspective to recognize how much you’ve actually grown. 💙

Sometimes the most meaningful part of recovery is the quiet moment when you pause, look back, and realize how far you’ve come.

Reflection isn’t about judging the past - it’s about honoring your strength, your growth, and the choices you’re making today.

Wherever you are on your journey, take a moment to breathe and acknowledge your resilience. You’re doing the work. You’re becoming who you needed. 🌱

Whether you're beginning to question your relationship with substances, supporting someone you care about, or exploring what recovery might look like, the phrase "one day at a time" can offer a powerful shift in perspective. It's more than a slogan - it's a way of living rooted in acceptance, mindfulness, and steady progress.

Family gatherings can be meaningful… and challenging. If you’re protecting your sobriety this holiday season, here are a few grounded tips to keep you steady:

✨ Arrive late or leave early if you need to
🙌 Bring a sober buddy or accountability partner
🥤 Carry your own non-alcoholic drink
💬 Have a “pass phrase” to step away from triggers
🚶 Take breaks — outside, in the restroom, anywhere you can reset

You’re not avoiding the moment, you’re choosing yourself.

What’s one strategy that helps you stay centered during gatherings?
