It's Friday! And this week we are highlighting Frankfort Regional's Stroke Program Coordinator Sabrina!

For Sabrina, stroke care is personal — it’s a mission shaped by love, loss, and the hope she carries for every family who walks through our doors.

After experiencing the heartbreak of her own mother’s stroke, Sabrina pours her whole heart into this work. Every protocol she refines, every process she strengthens, every minute she helps save is rooted in that memory.

“The community here is like my family,” Sabrina shared. “I am dedicated to helping people understand their stroke risks and making sure they receive timely, effective treatment.”

Her compassion and dedication were recently recognized with the “Stroke Star” award from NHC / UKHC Stroke Care Network — a well‑deserved honor for someone who leads with empathy, courage, and unwavering commitment for stoke care.

This rapid transfer is vital for getting patients to the next level of care when every minute counts.
