Drs. Chick and Marshall, two of our officers, demonstrated their initiative by discussing the current veterinary school proposal with our state legislators, showcasing their commitment to promoting the interests of the veterinary profession. Formal business attire may not be their standard attire, but they proved adaptable.

KVMA has grave concerns regarding the Murray State proposal to build a distributive model veterinary school in Kentucky. This will ultimately endanger the contract seats @ Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine that has been in place for 73 years with over 76% of KY residents returning to KY to practice. Please read below our list of main concerns. KVMA will make daily posts breaking down each of these points and feel free to share this in your own FB feed.
