Meet Amy! Here is what Amy had to say about her counseling approach:
"My counseling approach prioritizes the client above all else. I view each situation through a developmental and systemic lens, recognizing that many challenges we face are part of a larger interconnected context in our lives. Together, we can create a therapeutic experience that is tailored to your unique needs and goals. As your therapist, my role is to facilitate, encourage, support, and guide you in finding ways to progress, grow, heal, change, and flourish. Whether you're dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, stress, feelings of being overwhelmed, or relationship difficulties, I am eager to help you discover effective solutions and meaningful actions to enhance your life.
Therapy with me is uniquely grounded in authentic connection, warmth, and collaboration. I offer a non-judgmental space where clients are truly seen and heard—where healing doesn’t mean “fixing,” but rather discovering and empowering your most authentic self. What sets my approach apart is the integration of evidence-based modalities (like CBT, ACT, DBT, and trauma-informed care) with a deep respect for the mind-body connection and systemic influences on mental health. My goal is to walk beside you, not ahead of you, as we explore your strengths, challenges, and potential for growth.
