Meet the Team Monday!

Meet Amy! Here is what Amy had to say about her counseling approach:

"My counseling approach prioritizes the client above all else. I view each situation through a developmental and systemic lens, recognizing that many challenges we face are part of a larger interconnected context in our lives. Together, we can create a therapeutic experience that is tailored to your unique needs and goals. As your therapist, my role is to facilitate, encourage, support, and guide you in finding ways to progress, grow, heal, change, and flourish. Whether you're dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, stress, feelings of being overwhelmed, or relationship difficulties, I am eager to help you discover effective solutions and meaningful actions to enhance your life.

Therapy with me is uniquely grounded in authentic connection, warmth, and collaboration. I offer a non-judgmental space where clients are truly seen and heard—where healing doesn’t mean “fixing,” but rather discovering and empowering your most authentic self. What sets my approach apart is the integration of evidence-based modalities (like CBT, ACT, DBT, and trauma-informed care) with a deep respect for the mind-body connection and systemic influences on mental health. My goal is to walk beside you, not ahead of you, as we explore your strengths, challenges, and potential for growth.

I deeply understand that life doesn’t always go as planned—and that healing is rarely linear. My path to becoming a therapist was shaped by personal experiences of resilience, reflection, and a genuine desire to help others feel less alone in their struggles. I bring my full, present self into every session, showing up with empathy, humor, and honesty. My work is not just professional—it’s personal. I’m continually humbled and inspired by the courage of the individuals I work with."

Meet the Team Monday!

Meet Becca! Here is what Becca has said of her approach:

My therapeutic approach is grounded in Person-Centered Therapy, emphasizing empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard. I believe meaningful change happens within a safe, supportive relationship where clients feel genuinely heard and understood. Whether working with children, adolescents, or adults, I strive to create a nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their experiences, build insight, and develop confidence in their own inner strengths and capacity for growth. I also integrate skills and strategies from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), helping clients strengthen emotional regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness. With children in particular, I incorporate Play Therapy techniques to support expression and processing through developmentally appropriate means. Play provides a natural language for children to communicate feelings, work through challenges, and build coping skills. Across all ages, my approach is collaborative and adaptable—balancing validation and acceptance with practical tools to foster resilience, emotional awareness, and lasting change.
