Looks like some winter weather is headed our way starting Monday evening and lasting until mid-morning on Tuesday!

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Lexington beginning 10:00 PM, Monday, December 1, to 9:00 AM EST, Tuesday, December 2. Mixed precipitation of snow up to 2 inches and ice is expected. Plan on slippery driving conditions as roads, especially bridges and overpasses, will become slick and hazardous.

Just a reminder that a patient's health care information in the practice of acupuncture, like any other health care specialty, is protected by federal and state laws. Unless served with a judicial warrant, signed by a judge or a magistrate, or a subpoena, patients must give written permission for their personal information to be released.

Today is Martin Luther King Jr Day. It is not just a day to commemorate the life and accomplishments of a man who promoted justice and equality through non-violence. It is also a recognized day of service. While it is a federal holiday, and many people will be off work, we will be available for acupuncture appointments.
