💛💜Happy Intersex Awareness Day! 💜💛

🌈 InReach takes today to recognize the awareness needed for the Intersex community and wants to raise awareness for the Intersex equal rights, visibility, and dignity.
In these times of political discrimination towards anything that does not fit into a two-gender spectrum, Intersex people can be isolated, invalidated, and invisible to society.
🗣️ But today we let the Intersex community speak for themselves and rally around them to let their voices be heard loudly and proudly, by all those who need to hear!

✨Together, we can tear down the gendered system that separates us all and create a new system where all identities can be seen, supported, and celebrated!

🏳️‍🌈💚 InReach’s app seeks to help support the intersex community by connecting them to verified, safe LGBTQ+ resources, which can include healthcare, legal assistance, housing, mental health services, and more! app.inreach.org

"My name is Natasha Rose. I identify as transgender and pansexual.
Pronouns: she/her

I graduated from Southern Illinois University with a degree in psychology in 2004. My first career was as an entrepreneur, where I owned and operated a book store and two video game stores. In 2021, I began pursuing counseling as a second career, gaining experience working as a crisis counselor, recovery counselor, and youth case manager. In 2025, I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University and became an LPCA in Kentucky.

As an autistic and transgender woman, I understand the struggle to find belonging, sometimes feeling lost in the rivers and roads of our lives. I believe we each have the capacity to fully step into ourselves, creating or recreating who we are with compassion and intention. It is a privilege to walk beside clients as they navigate the complexities of living in a world that can at times feel so painfully unwelcoming that it pushes us into isolation. My approach to therapy is eclectic and deeply individualized. I see you as both the expert of your experience and the author of your own story, knowing that healing doesn't fit neatly into any single box.

I'm passionate about advocating for the LGBTQIA+ community and nurturing spaces of healing and growth. I believe healing begins through safety and connection — reconnecting with ourselves and with the people who truly see us."

🌈 Happy National Coming Out Day! 🌈

Whether your queerness is loud and proud or tucked safely in the closet, TODAY is for you.

Coming out isn’t a requirement to be valid. Some of us shout our truth from the rooftops, and some of us whisper it softly to ourselves. Always remember, both are acts of courage. Visibility looks different for everyone, and every version of your story deserves to be celebrated.

In Eastern Kentucky and across Appalachia, being who you are can come with extra layers of risk, love, and bravery. No matter where you are on your journey, always know that YOU belong, YOU are loved, and YOU are part of our community.

Today, we celebrate every form of coming out and every reason for waiting, protecting, and surviving. We love y’all. ❤️
