To Med-Save Pharmacy Legends Owner/Pharmacist in Charge Justin Carroll, North Lexington “feels like home.”
“When I was just out of high school, I decided to try out a job at the Louden Avenue Rite Aid. I continued to work there while I studied pharmacy at UK, and that’s where I learned how to be a pharmacist, and where I fell in love with my profession,” he said. “I love working with and helping the people in that area. Because of that, it’s especially important to me to provide North Lexington with the pharmaceutical care it needs.”
Carroll graduated from the University of Kentucky School of Pharmacy in 2015 and is married to Courtney Carroll, a pharmacist at a Med-Save Family of Pharmacies store (Sopers Family Drug) in Carlisle, Kentucky.
The feeling of being part of a family is a big part of what attracted Carroll to the Med-Save Family of Pharmacies located throughout Kentucky. “I’m proud to be part of a family of independent pharmacies and pharmacists who are committed to providing personalized care to communities throughout Kentucky,” Carroll said. “Doing whatever it takes to take care of our patients is what independent pharmacies are all about. And that’s what we’ll be doing at Med-Save Pharmacy Legends in North Lexington starting March 30, 2020.”
“My staff and I encourage anyone who lives in the area to stop by or give us a call,” he said. “We’d love to talk with them and share the many ways we can help them, by helping them understand their medication therapy, answering questions about insurance co-pays and even, whenever possible, how to save money on their prescriptions. ”
