🌟 Lexington Addiction Center Spotlight: Zack Bowden 🌟
With over a decade of experience in the field, Zack combines professional expertise with a deep, personal commitment to recovery. A graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Zack’s path into this work began with his own transformative journey. After being impacted by substance use, he sought treatment in 2013, where he found hope and healing through the compassion of others, an experience that ignited his lifelong dedication to helping others do the same.
For Zack, the most rewarding part of his work is witnessing transformation. Seeing individuals enter treatment feeling lost and hopeless, and leave with renewed hope, purpose, and vitality, is what drives him each day.
His leadership is grounded in humility and empathy. As Zack shares,
“I try to make sure clients know that, although I might be further along in terms of days sober, I am no better or worse than any of them; we are all shoulder to shoulder in recovery.”
Outside of his role, Zack values time with his wife and children, and enjoys live music, trying new foods, and watching movies. Deeply engaged in his own recovery and spiritual practice, he leads with both authenticity and intention.
We are grateful for Zack’s leadership, heart, and the impact he makes on our clients, families, and team every day. 💙
