CONGRATULATIONS to our amazing clinicians, Debra Suiter, Arica Rusco, and Dave Zirlen! Their recent presentation at the 2025 convention was ranked #4 out of more than 2,500(!) in a post-convention satisfaction survey. Thanks to for their support of our endeavors both inside and outside of the clinic. Continuing education and promotion of evidence-based practice in our field is a major part of our mission. Way to go!

📢 New study out now from clinic director Debra Suiter and colleagues:

520 U.S. SLPs shared how they evaluate oropharyngeal dysphagia, and the findings show significant differences by clinician age and experience.

Lights ⚡️ camera 🎥 action 🎬 This afternoon, our head and neck specialized SLPs Dave Zirlen and Arica Rusco (with special guest/graduate clinician Mary Malone) joined Quinn Dunlap, MD and Stephanie Pridemore, PA-C in producing educational videos for head and neck cancer patients. These videos will cover what to expect before, during, and after laryngectomy and wound care. Expanding patient access to quality, evidence based educational materials is crucial to improving patient preparedness and outcomes of procedures such as a total laryngectomy. Way to go, team!!!
