This week, CBTeam shares a mix of heartfelt gratitude and sadness as we prepare to bid farewell to Dr. Adam Reid in his role as Co-Owner and Founding Director of Child and Adolescent Services. As of July 1, 2025, Adam will step away from his leadership position to return to full-time clinical work and begin a new chapter in his professional life.
Since joining CBTeam in 2018, Adam has played a pivotal role in our growth—from a small group of part-time clinicians to a thriving team of over 14 full-time clinicians and a supportive staff. His leadership helped shape our clinical programming and fostered the evolution of our team.
Adam was instrumental in developing our Intensive Outpatient Program, Psychological Testing services, and child and adolescent initiatives like Camp Courage, Club Courage, and Courage Academy. He also led our marketing and website efforts and worked hard to make our space feel like a home-away-from-home. Above all, Adam devoted countless hours to individual and group supervision—mentorship that deeply impacted our clinical team.
Adam's decision to step down reflects his desire to focus on being a full-time clinician and to reclaim more work-life balance after years of wearing many hats. He leaves CBTeam proud of the team he’s helped build and the hundreds of "this is why" moments he’s celebrated with staff during client breakthroughs.
He will reopen his private practice full-time at 1775 Massachusetts Avenue in downtown Lexington, MA, and can be reached at adamreidphd@reidtherapeuticservices.org.
On behalf of the entire CBTeam community—our staff, clients, and leadership—we thank Adam for his years of dedication, expertise, and care.
With appreciation,
Jason and Kim
