What happens after rehab ends? 🏥

Recovery after a fall or injury does not always stop when rehabilitation does. For many older adults, the next phase of recovery happens with the right daily support.

This clinical case study from Morning Pointe Senior Living explores how consistent therapy, nursing oversight, nutritious meals, and daily engagement helped a resident continue gaining strength and confidence after a hip fracture. Over time, measurable improvements in balance, mobility, and independence began to take shape.

It is one real example of how assisted living can support recovery and improve day-to-day quality of life.

A little luck and a lot of smiles to go around. ☘️😊

As part of our Morning Pointe in Motion journey to Ireland this month, Lexington Catholic High School’s SHINE group brought the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day to life. Students spent the afternoon creating festive crafts, sharing conversation, and enjoying time together with our residents.

Moments like these make the experience even more meaningful, connecting culture, creativity, and generations all in one.

Thank you to these wonderful students for making the day extra special.

When you’re looking for the right place for someone you love, you notice everything. ❤️

The building, the atmosphere… but more than anything, the people.

Because at the end of the day, it’s not about how a place looks. It’s about how your loved one is cared for, spoken to, and supported each day.

That’s what stood out most to Jim and his family.

His story is a reminder that real peace of mind comes from knowing your loved one is surrounded by people who truly care.

We’re proud to see our co-founder, Greg Vital, recognized with the 2026 Leader Against Litter Award from Keep Tennessee Beautiful for the impact he continues to make across the state through beautification and litter prevention. 🌿

Meet Brandy! 💙

Brandy brings a strong background in nursing and years of experience in skilled care to our team. While this is her first role in Assisted Living, she’s already making a meaningful impact and continues to grow her knowledge as she advances her nursing education.

Outside of work, you’ll likely find her cheering on her two teenagers at basketball and cheer events. And if you ask her about her dream? It involves a farm full of animals, as many as she can possibly have.

We’re so glad to have Brandy as part of our Morning Pointe of Lexington team.

How do you know when it’s time to consider assisted living or memory care?
What legal steps should families think about before a crisis happens?

These are some of the most common questions caregivers ask, and they’ll be part of the conversation at the upcoming Caregiver Café: Caring Conversations, hosted by the Morning Pointe Foundation at Morning Pointe of Lexington. 💬

You’ll hear from a panel of local experts including:
• Michael Ayersman, Insurance Broker, MEA Senior Solutions
• Mike D. McKinley, Jr., Attorney/Owner, Elder Care Law of Kentucky
• Phil Morgan, President, Always Best Care

During the program, panelists will walk through key topics families often face when navigating aging and caregiving. After the discussion, guests will also have the opportunity to connect with the panelists individually to ask additional questions.

A little luck, a lot of laughter, and a full room of familiar faces. 🍀

Family Night at Morning Pointe of Lexington brought everyone together for a fun and festive St. Patrick’s Day celebration. Residents and families enjoyed a spread of Irish-inspired appetizers and refreshing mocktails while spending time together and catching up.

The room came alive with live entertainment, toe-tapping music, and plenty of energy. Our “all-green” theme added to the fun with a lively costume contest and a spirited “green grab” scavenger hunt that had everyone joining in and showing their competitive side.

Events like this are about more than just celebrating a holiday. They create meaningful opportunities for residents and families to connect, share experiences, and make lasting memories together.

It was a night full of joy, music, and community, and one we won’t soon forget.
