An oldie but a goodie illustration! The part of the iceberg on the surface is pain, discomfort, muscle guarding or correcting and inflammation. Simply put, only the symptoms of the underlying issue, the SUBLUXATION.
The submerged part of the iceberg is what the subluxation can cause to the body (by its INTERFERENCE to the nervous system), if not addressed by correcting the subluxation through a specific chiropractic adjustment.
In the movie Titanic, the underlying part of the iceberg is what caused a breech in the hull and subsequently sank the ship, not a direct hit to the surface of the iceberg!

CHIROPRACTIC can be defined as the art, science and philosophy which utilizes the inherent recuperative powers expressed by the body and deals with the relationship between the nervous system the spinal column, including its immediate articulations and the role of this relationship in the restorating and maintaining of optimal health.

My buddy Finn got a chance to have a balloon because it was not latex made so we say "No bad allergic reactions" on Valentine's Day!!!
Balloons just change the atmosphere. Hannah & little Sarah can vouch for that. Also, some of the last minute guys! You know who you are...LOL!

To all our wonderful Practice Members and anyone wanting to join us in our efforts to provide needed supplies to Western NC.
They are still trying to recover from Helene so SLFC, a Harvest Hope site, has been redirecting our donations to Ashville and surrounding areas of NC.
They are in need of new socks, new underwear, non-perishable goods, baby wipes, diapers, baby food and new/lightly used clothing for adults and children.
God Bless you as your hearts are led to give to those who have much need and loss in this time.

I wanted to share a recent testimony of a man who joined this month's Watchmen for Christ gathering at the Lord's Practice.(SLFC, LLC).
I had invited JR many times before but this time he came and the Holy Spirit was waiting. A previous Recovery/Restoration ministry, I was reminded how it took 5 years to peel away and reveal the root cause of what was hindering a man from truly walking in healing and true freedom in Christ.
At this meeting, the Holy Spirit was beautifully and amazingly wooing JR to an isolated childhood trauma that left an emptiness he had been trying to fill with work, drinking and many false "love of his life" relationships.
It was a wonderful thing to witness the Spirit's very laser leading deliverance and the eventual miracle of salvation with JR!
I have found many in the Bible Belt say they have acknowledged Jesus as Lord but was only in a religious way not the intimate way as "Jesus is my Lord!"
When the Spirit of God draws and there is a genuine response to that wooing, you see the fruit of transformation very quickly. I have seen actual physical appearance change as they have surrendered their lives and allowed the Holy Spirit to take control. (John 6:44)
I saw JR at the office after that weekend of the 14th. He had told me of a birthday party he went to but...Did Not Drink. A man who had spoken to me about sipping on moonshine as his aperitif! (If there was such a thing. Yes, people still make it and obviously people still drink it!)
God is moving very quickly and powerfully in this time. He is looking for those who He can trust with His Glory.
As I have returned to Lexington Medical Center Pastoral Care Dept this year, from having served through the covid pandemic years, I am encountering an increase in salvations as well as healings and deliverance as you can well imagine. Typically seeing 25-30 patients on the rotations I volunteer on Thursday's, I may have only 1 bypass prayer. Most welcome it and are open to the restorative and healing power that come from the Lord by the laying on of hands in prayer. One visit, a woman received Jesus as her personal Savior and wanted immediate water baptism so it was done right on her hospital bed!
All Nations Church is in the midst of a 40 day fast for all that this going on this year. We are finishing the 4th week of 6 and can see our focus points pictured. You can also get more details at....

Looking back to the beginning of my Chiropractic journey this 20th Year of stewarding "His Practice" (God's Practice), I have to give thanks to Him for literally waking me up and saving my life!

I had been working for 6 years in a clinical chemistry/toxicology lab and was looking for a means to be preventative, like a fire marshal, as opposed to being a firefighter, in regards to health.
There was a "health talk" being presented north of Harrisburg, PA at a Dr Lisa Bleicher's office in Jim Thorpe, PA. As usual, it was snowing pretty good going north. There was a man named Reggie Gold who was to be the presenter. His last name had me alittle concerned I was going to have to avoid a hard sell tactic but when I saw the mutton chops and turquoise jewelry, I definitely was wondering what I had gotten myself into on that snowy winter night up in Northern PA!
His presentation was the beginning of my perspective change from a mechanistic to the vitalistic understanding of health that holds true to this day at SLFC.
Two years after that meeting, I met another passionate, brilliant and determined man who was my professor and has been a pillar for maintaining the true Art, Science & Philosophy of Chiropractic, Dr Thom Gelardi. The Founder of Sherman College of Chiropractic.
I have a picture of Dr Lisa and myself as only 4 people showed up on that snowy night at her office. I mentioned to Reggie at a later Lyceum, how much I appreciated him coming that night to speak to all four of us when he was presenting to very large groups nationally and internationally. How it was a main factor in me going to Chiropractic school. He said, regarding me being the only one of the four that went to Sherman, 25% was not a bad percentage!

Going back to that night. As I drove back home, having been adjusted for the first time and the snow mesmerizing me, I fell asleep at the wheel!
I realized I had dozed off on the highway and my car amazingly hit the left guard rail perfectly parallel that I bounced back in the first lane again. Now, I was very much awake and upset there was a nice gray line going down the side of my white vehicle!
I contemplated this being a warning to not go to Sherman but thankfully I realized it was a wake up call telling me not wait any longer and start working on getting down to Spartanburg, SC.

God always has a plan when we trust and put our faith in Him. He is the Author and Finisher of our faith!
