Tuesday, February 17: Dragon Masks!

To celebrate both Mardi Gras and Chinese New Year, members designed these fun dragon masks! Whether made to be worn or to be a decoration, we think they turned out great!

Monday, February 16: Movement Monday!

Members stayed extra Active today with our new Movement Monday theme! Activities included bowling, a twist on basket ball, dice baseball, and the fan favorite; Noodle Ball!

Friday, February 13: Valentines Party Photo Op!

There were so many sweet photos from our photo op, we put them together in a slideshow for your enjoyment!

Friday, February 13: Valentines Pageant!

To determine the winners for this year's event, we put the names of the participants on a wheel of chance. Winners from last year ceremoniously handed over the crowns after everyone had fun with the fashion show portion. Congratulations to: King Brandon, Queen Kim, Prince Stephen, and Princess Cathy!!!

Tuesday, February 10: Love Jars Craft!

Members decorated these simple but cute jar printouts with hearts, filling them with things they love, and things they love about themselves. It was heartwarming to see their answers, and the smiles that came with the finished product!

Tuesday, February 10: Visit from Lexington Fire Department!

Members were so excited to be visited by members of the local fire department! The firefighters answered so many questions, demonstrated some of their equipment, and even gave the group a tour of the firetruck, Engine 12. They were super friendly and absolutely made our day!

First week of February:
We didn't let the weather get us down, and had lots of fun crafting and playing games!

Members got to try a new method of painting using shaving cream to create awesome marbled effects. We designed lovely centerpieces to brighten up the center. To honor Black History Month and get our minds off the cold, we painted gorgeous African sunsets, and made a new paper chain for the entryway in Black History Month colors.

We are excited to say we will be open tomorrow 2/2/26 with normal hours 8-430!
Transportation will run in areas we can safely get to. Please make sure drives and walkways are clear for safety.
