The AOCA was recognized in 1959 as a Specialty College of the American Osteopathic Association. Just as the osteopathic profession has grown over the past 50 years, the AOCA has also grown. Our college now has over 1200 Fellows. The AOCA is comprised of attending physicians, residents and medical students from across the United States who have dedicated themselves to the advancement of the field of anesthesiology and pain management, as well as their careers. The American Osteopathic College of Anesthesiologists has expanded tremendously over the decades to become a strong and influential specialty college.

Learn more & apply at FAER.org/Grants. Grants available for this cycle include the Mentored Research Training Grant (FAER.org/MRTG), Research in Education Grant (FAER.org/REG), Research Fellowship Grant (FAER.org/RFG), & Transition to Independence Grant (FAER.org/TIG).

Also available this cycle is the APSF-FAER Mentored Research Training Grant (FAER.org/APSF). Co-sponsored by the Patient Safety Foundation (APSF), the APSF-FAER MRTG requires the submission of a Letter of Intent (LOI) to FAER by January 1, 2026, prior to the submission of a full application.
