I have been working in the mental health field since graduating from James Madison University in 1986. I have been providing outpatient therapy for the past 22 years, including 8 years in private practice, 9 years at Rockbridge Area Community Services (in Lexington, VA) and 5 years at Piedmont Psychiatric Center (in Lynchburg, VA).
