Exciting News! Youth Counseling Connection Awarded $75,000 Grant!

Youth Counseling Connection's Board and Executive Director, Emily Hayes, is thrilled to announce that we have been awarded a generous $75,000 grant from the esteemed Cummings Foundation!

How This Grant Helps – Direct Impact on Lexington Youth:

The need for mental health support for young people is growing, and this $75,000 grant will directly help YCC increase our servies to Lexington youth and families.

We want to give our deepest thanks to the Cummings Foundation for their incredible generosity and their strong commitment to helping our community. Their belief in YCC's work shows just how much good we can do together.

Let your Lexington student know...YCC's walk-in wednesdays are back open for the school year!

The office is open for walk-in therapy on Wednesdays from 3:00-4:30pm. During this time, youth or families can walk in and have immediate free access to a therapist. This is a great resource for those who have had a hard time accessing services, or someone who wants to see what therapy is all about!

Honored to be recognized by Lexington's own Battlegreen Run Foundation as one of the many non-profits their annual run supports.

Since 1996, they have distributed over $1,200,000 to non-profit partners like YCC and we are very grateful.

We use financial support like this for the many FREE mental health services we offer Lexington youth and their families.

YCC is an independent Lexington-based nonprofit located at 7 Harrington Road (right on the battle green with a private side entrance) and works tirelessly to support Lexington youth and their families through short-term counseling, support groups, and community-based programs.

Our active Youth Board students connect peers with YCC services, host events and fundraisers.

Healthy friendships are great for your mental health!

If you worry that you might be in an unhealthy friendship and want someone to talk to, our Walk in Wednesdays from 3-4:30pm (or any weekday by appointment) are a great place to start.

As always, our services are FREE and confidential.

Use our private side entrance (there's a YCC sign on the door) at 7 Harrington Road right on the green in Lexington and walk in every Wednesday from 3-4:30pm and speak to one of our kind counselors.
